アブストラクト
The early volume change of various mortars and concretes of different materials and mixing proportions during the time period from just after casting to 1day (24 hours) age was studied. Specimen showed various types of volume change time history in the measured period. From the beginning of measurement during first several hours, we observed relatively very big volume change. This change is seemed to consist of mainly plastic shrinkage, pore filling and sedimentation, chemical shrinkage, and autogenous shrinkage. At the initial stage of measurement, the pore filling and sedimentation effect together with the autogenous shrinkage seems to affect the total deformation predominantly than other factors. We wanted to evaluate the influence of mix materials and mix proportions on early volume change. The material part is mainly focused on binders and admixtures; on the other hand, the mixing proportion is focused on W/C ratio.
